The Course Less than an hour from London you will find Surrey Downs Golf Club, set in the rolling Surrey Hills with spectacular views across The Downs. The former Ryder Cup and Tour Professional Peter Alliss was commissioned to design the course in keeping with the surroundings and he has produced a down land golf course which enhances the natural beauty of the hills. The golf course is maintained to a very high standard with the greens being to USGA Specification. The down land setting normally provides a breeze which adds an alternative aspect to the challenging but very scenic rough with a particular feature being our large shared 9th and 18th green which is well protected by a large pond coming into play on both holes. The course is challenging for golfers of all abilities with interestingly designed holes which require thought on course strategy over sheer length of hit and with this in mind it is a hugely enjoyable course which rewards good play.
