Where would we be in this country without the topic of the great British weather?  After one of the driest winters on record, April is doing its best to make up for some of the shortfalls that we were experiencing and filling the reservoir naturally just after we had done a partial fill from the mains.  Water supply and application has been an area of concern for some time now and I am pleased to report that the owners have given the go ahead to update our irrigation system. After 16 years in this business the one thing I wish I had done, that I haven’t yet, is found the failsafe answer to the ever-present issues of slow play and pitch marks on greens.  Had I found the answer I would be a very wealthy man and would now be sitting in Australia at my golf club, preparing for my daily 18 holes!
