Golf Tuition

We are very proud of the practice facility at Surrey Downs and you will find it difficult to better. Set in picturesque surroundings, you can experience the satisfaction of a grass teeing area for eight months of the year, making your practice as close to course conditions as possible and of course, there is exceptional value to be had.

For the occasional visitor we offer two basket sizes of 20 and 50 balls.

​

For the regular visitor we offer a discount card which can be loaded with 10, 20 or 50 units each dispensing 30 balls.

Golf tuition is available from our head professional, Craig Cowper. He has previously worked at World of Golf (New Malden) and the Academy at Horton Park and he has been an active player throughout his career. 

​

He has competed on the European Tour and has played many high level tournaments all over the world including the BMW PGA Championship and the European Open at The Belfry. He has also competed on the European Challenge Tour and has been very successful on the PGA Southern Region. He has over 75 career victories to his name. 

​

He has been coaching for over 20 years and relishes the challenge of helping golfers improve and learn more about this great game. His coaching style is straightforward, calm and friendly. His clients benefit from his vast playing experience and from him working with some of the world's leading instructors.

He also enjoys working on the mental side of the game and course management.
