Dear Park Wood Members!
Our sister club Oakland Park Golf Club has challenged us to a round of golf on our own course!
A challenge that we have ACCEPTED!
On the 29th of August 2015, we will host our challengers at the inaugural Chairman's Cup.
The day promises to be filled with Great Golf, Great Food and Great Fun.
Match Format: Average Stableford
Numbers Per Team: This is an ALL INCLUSIVE EVENT. We want as many participants as possible of all levels of Golf.
Prize: WINNER TAKES ALL. CUP, PRIDE and BRAGGING RIGHTS!
The Chairman's Cup will be presented to the Captain of the Winning Club at a Trophy Presentation on our balcony. The Cup will be displayed Proudly at the Winning Club till the next Challenge.
Food: The day will give us an opportunity to show off our spectacular course but also our great food. I'm sure all of you have by now experienced the food created by our Head Chef Luciano. Word has spread to OPGC that he cooks a great meal! We will be serving some of his best on the day. Bacon Rolls and Coffee on arrival, Evening Meal and even entertainment for the evening!
Entry Fee: £22.00. Through our many events, our members and the club generate alot of money for various Charities. We felt that we need to have a day that is specifically for our Members! We want this to be a day just about you and all fees will be used to fund the great food and events!
5 day members are welcome to play in this event. There will be an additional £10 per person entry fee.
Next Challenge: The next challenge will be hosted by Oakland Park in the Spring. This will be a biannual event.
